We have 2 class hermit crabs. Their names are Kitty and Hermetta. They are different because Kitty is HUGE while Hermetta is small and shy. We started with three different crabs that we earned a year ago when the entire class met their reading goals. They have died and I brought Bobbi Jo who also died. Now we have Kitty and Hermetta donated by students.
Some of the adventures they've had was Bobbi Jo shedding a leg and then crawling around with one leg. And when Miss H left kitty on the table and she crawled off and Miss H could not find her. When she found her she was by the door trying to leave.
