Writer's Workshop is when we write about anything we want to. The steps to doing this are: prewriting, drafting, sharing, revising/editing, conferencing, and publishing.
We have to have two pieces done by Tuesday, March 24th. We also have to have one piece that we edit and revise without an adult for a report card grade.
In our Writer's Workshop binder there are helpful hints like a 6 trait rubric, a revision peer conferencing form, writing topic suggestions, and tips for writing.
I asked some people what they wrote about. Here is what they said: "Lost in Winter Wonderland" "The School Ghost" "Minnesota Travel Brochure" and "The School Ghost Award"
